Proton single - particle energies in 23 F
Nucleon transfer reaction experiments on nuclei far from stability give information on the single-particle properties of these nuclei. The single-particle properties are essential for the basic test of nuclear models used for making predictions and extrapolations for the properties of nuclei even further from stability. In this paper we consider results obtained in a recent experiment by Michim...

متن کاملSingle Particle Spectrum and Binding Energy of Nuclear Matter
In non-relativistic Brueckner calculations of nuclear matter, the self-consistent single particle potential is strongly momentum dependent. To simplify the calculations, a parabolic approximation is often used in the literature. The variation in the binding energy value introduced by the parabolic approximation is quantitatively analyzed in detail. It is found that the approximation can introdu...
متن کاملParticle production at RHIC energies
This paper presents recent results from the BRAHMS experiment at RHIC; including results on particle production in rapidity space extending from y=0 to y ∼ 3 and on the transverse momentum distribution of fully identified charged particles. These results were obtained from the 5% most central Au-Au collisions recorded during RHIC Run-2 at √ sNN = 200 GeV.
متن کاملParticle Production and Flow at SIS Energies
An overview is given over recent measurement of flow and particle production in the energy range from 0.1 to 2AGeV. Excitation functions for the directed sideward and the azimuthally symmetric transverse flow are presented and show the importance of flow phenomena in this incident energy regime. Rapidity density distributions are indicative of a system size dependence of the stopping process. T...
